Static Images in Flash

Flash is a technology that allows you to view, through the use of a plug-in, vector images on screen. With Flash, you can have all sorts of animation and interactivity. But what about creating static images in Flash? You can do it, but it is still going to require the plug-in to view. So what would be the benefit? The file size will be small because it is vector, but so would a gif of the illustration. The main benefits are going to be that you could have it display at any size (or scale with the browser) and you can zoom in on the image.

To zoom in, right click on the image and select the zoom option.

If you do not have the Flash Plug-in, click here.
