About the Author
Thomas Powell (tpowell@pint.com) has been involved in the Internet community for over ten years. In the early 1990s he worked at the first internet service provider in Southern California, CERFnet. In 1994, he founded PINT (www.pint.com), a Web development and consulting firm that now provides Web services for numerous major corporations around the United States.Powell is the author of numerous Web development books including JavaScript: The Complete Reference, HTML: The Complete Reference, HTML Programmers Reference, and Web Site Engineering. He has written extensively on Web technology in trade publications and is a frequent contributor to Network World. Powell is also a member of the Network World Test Alliance. Thomas Powell teaches Web publishing and development classes for the University of California, San Diego Computer Science department. He also teaches for the UCSD Extension where he and his colleagues founded the Web Publishing program. He holds a B.S. in Math Applied Science from UCLA and an M.S. in Computer Science from UCSD. |
